2017

I know that the whole 'new year, new me' concept is very cliche. January the 1st 2017 was, after all, just another day. However, I like to use the new year as, not a fresh start as such, but an excuse to make some changes to my life and outlook on life that might make me a happier and healthier person this year. I have a number of new years resolutions and aims for the new year, some perhaps more achievable and realistic than others. But why not give them a shot. After all, shouldn't we always be striving to live the best life that we can?

Drifting around Arundel

Sunday's are for exploring. I am never one to want to stay in all day and do nothing, especially when the weather is fine. I like discovering new places and appreciating the familiar. Much to my boyfriends dismay, unless I'm working, I drag him out most weekends. Arundel seemed like the perfect location to get some Autumnal shots and show off my new shearling jacket.

The Changing of the Seaons

Summer has (just about) finished for another year. The evenings are darker and the air feels different. Thinner.
It's not quite woolen jumper weather, but gone are days for gallivanting around in floaty summer dresses.

Lyndhurst and Lymington

Sunny weather calls for days out. Days to cute little towns in the New Forest!
There are not many places where you can walk around and be surrounded by wild horses and ponies. I grew up coming to the New Forest for picnics in the summer, but the novelty never wears thin.

Monochrome

I cannot believe it is already the end of July! Summer seems to be flying past, and I don't want it to end. These photographs were taken at the end of May, but it could have been yesterday.
I still have some nice plans coming up in August though, particularly Green Man festival, which I am extremely excited about!

The Cotswolds

I was desperate to get away for a while. I had a very specific holiday in mind. I wanted somewhere with no traffic, no noise and no stress. I wanted the middle of nowhere, I wanted green, and I wanted a hot tub!
